The APCG is a biennial conference of the Asia-Pacific Federation on Giftedness (APFG) providing a unique opportunity for enriched mutual sharing among educators, researchers, and administrators.

The theme of this conference is “Beyond Intelligence : Entrepreneurship, Leadership, and Ethical minds”. In the era of the fourth industrial revolution, gifted education of the past have limitations in preparing our youngsters for a new era. Indeed, we find the gifted people of our time that enriched our lives today are more than just intelligent scientists and engineers. They are entrepreneurs, and they are ethical leaders. In order for our society to move from a good society to a great society, we need a changing concepts of picture of giftedness. APCG 2020 will be the place to discuss these changed giftedness.

Besides the conference at the Exhibition and Convention Center in Korea (EXCO), there will be a Youth Summit which will be held at the Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science & Technology(DGIST). The Youth Summit designed for gifted students who will become future leaders, will promote international friendship through specially designed educational programs for gifted students.

Since this conference is held at the time when the role of gifted education becomes critically important in a rapidly changing society, anyone interested in future progress of gifted education should not miss.

We’re looking forward to meeting with great colleagues from Asia-Pacific countries and sharing new experience and exciting events in Gifted Education.
